W. Rumpus & Co

This startup company is preparing to enter the market with unique burp cloths and other items to support busy parents with infants. We developed a name and identity system to get them started. We drew inspiration from Maurice Sendak’s Where the Wild Things Are and that story’s emblematic line “Let the wild rumpus begin!”. In keeping with the wild rumpus of caring for an infant, the mark is a wild (but friendly) little monster – hand drawn and painted with color refusing to stay inside the lines.
